Our Policies
- Check-in hours are 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday and by 7
p.m. on Sundays. Special arrangements must be made in advance
for late arrivals.
- Check
out time is 11 a.m. promptly. Late checkouts are at the discretion
of the innkeeper and must be arranged in advance. There may be
an additional fee for checking out after 11:00 a.m.
- A deposit of 50% is required to reserve a room. The balance
is due upon arrival. We cannot hold a reservation without a deposit.
- One-night reservations require full payment in advance.
- Swann House accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Personal checks are accepted only for advance deposits and not
final payments.
- In the event of a cancellation, deposits will be refunded only
if Swann House is given a minimum of 14 days notice prior to the
arrival date of the reservation. All cancellations, regardless
of notice, will be assessed a $35 cancellation fee, per room.
Group reservations (4 or more rooms) must provide a minimum of
30 days notice. Guests giving no notice of their intentions to
cancel (no shows) will be charged the full amount of their reservation.
Guests checking out earlier than the confirmed departure date
will not receive a refund unless the room is re-booked.
We understand circumstances arise requiring the cancellation of
a reservation however, as a small business, cancellations have
a significant effect on us and the service we are able to provide.
Therefore, we will offer refunds only when proper notice is given.
- Limited off-street parking is available only by advance reservation
for a charge of $14 per day, plus tax.
- Well-behaved children ages 12 and above are welcome. Swann House
is not appropriate for younger children.
- While we do love pets, we are not able to accommodate them at
Swann
House.
- Room rates are for single or double occupancy and do not include
the 14.5% hotel tax. The rate for an additional person in the
room is $35 per person, per night. Only a select number of rooms
can accommodate more than 2 people.
- Swann House offers a smoke-free environment. Guests may smoke
anywhere outdoors. Guests smoking inside Swann House will be assessed
a $500 fee plus cleaning charges.
- There is usually a two-night minimum required
on weekends. Please call for single night availability on weekends.
Holiday weekends and special events may require longer stays.
- Rates may change without notice during special events and premium
time periods.
