Hi — I’m Christine, owner and innkeeper of Swann House, and I’m so glad you’re here. I live onsite at Swann House and personally oversee every detail of the guest experience. I’m the one behind most of the emails you receive, the breakfasts that you enjoy every morning, and making sure the house is perfect for your stay, your events, or your retreat.
Before taking over ownership of the Swann House, I spent many years working in international development, which took me all over the world. Along the way, I stayed everywhere from simple guesthouses to truly exceptional hotels. What I learned is that true luxury is truly experiences out of attention — being known, anticipated, and genuinely cared for. That philosophy guides everything we do here. Every guest is treated like a VIP.
My husband, Matt, and our two children live onsite as well, and while I manage the day-to-day of the inn, Swann House is very much a family-run home. You’ll often see us quietly caring for the house and making sure everything feels just right.
I believe a great stay is one that is lush and tailored to your preferences – the way a stay should feel.
